The vision of HSCA is to promote science and technology in Himachal Pradesh by serving as a connecting link for the various scientific minds which are associated with this hill state. HSCA aims to connect intellectuals from schools, colleges and universities and helps to promote the scientific temperament among them. To meet these goals HSCA organises various events in different parts of Himachal Pradesh. In recent years, HSCA has become a platform to discuss the diverse scientific aspects to disseminate relevant findings amongst all the researchers in general, and those of Himachal Pradesh, in particular.

वैज्ञानिक और सामाजिक संस्था है हिम साइंस कांग्रेस एसोसिएशन
हिम साइंस कांग्रेस एक वैज्ञानिक और सामाजिक संस्था है।यह हिमाचल प्रदेश में विज्ञान और पर्यावरण के क्षेत्र में कार्य करती है।कुछ लोग इसकी लोकप्रियता को पचा नहीं पा रहे हैं इसलिए इसको बदनाम करने के लिए कार्य कर रहे हैं।यह बात हिम साइंस कांग्रेस एसोसिएशन के महासचिव डॉ सुनील कुमार ने कहे।उन्होंने कहा हिम साइंस कांग्रेस एसोसिएशन द्वारा जल्दी ही ऐसे लोगों के प्रति कड़ा संज्ञान लेते हुए न्यायालय का दरवाजा खटखटाया जाएगा।उन्होंने कहा कि आए दिन समाचार पत्रों में अग्रणी सामाजिक संस्था के प्रति आक्षेप करना दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है।उन्होंने हिम साइंस कांग्रेस एसोसिएशन के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए बताया इसकी स्थापना 2012 में हिमाचल प्रदेश में विज्ञान व पर्यावरण के प्रति विद्यार्थियों की रुचि बढ़े व विज्ञान की नई खोजों की जानकारी समाज में जाये के उद्देश्य से की गई थी।इसके पहले संरक्षक प्रदेश के अग्रणी विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति और पर्यावरण विज्ञान एवं तकनीकी विभाग हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार के निदेशक रहे हैं।इस संस्था के साथ देश और विदेश की अग्रणी संस्थानों आईआईटी,एनआईटी,केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय,प्रदेश विश्वविद्यालयों व विभिन्न देश भर के महाविद्यालयों के वैज्ञानिक,आचार्य,शोधार्थी व विद्यार्थी सदस्य हैं।एसोसिएशन के वर्तमान में 500 से अधिक सदस्य हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि एशोसिएशन द्वारा अब तक 13 अंतरराष्ट्रीय कॉन्फ्रेंस का आयोजन किया जा चुका है व अक्टूबर माह में आगामी अंतरराष्ट्रीय कॉन्फ्रेंस चम्बा में होगी।विज्ञान, तकनीक,पर्यावरण व विज्ञान में नवीन खोजों पर वैज्ञानिकों, अधेयताओं,आचार्यों, शोधकर्ताओं व विद्यार्थियों द्वारा शोध पत्र प्रस्तुत किये जाते हैं। सहभागी प्रतिभागियों व सर्वश्रेष्ठ शोध पत्र प्रस्तुत करने पर शोधकर्ताओं को प्रमाण पत्र व पुरस्कृत किया जाता है। उन्होंने कहा कि एसोसिएशन विशेष रूप से जनजातीय क्षेत्रों में विद्यार्थियों में विज्ञान व पर्यावरण के प्रति रुचि पैदा हो ऐसे कार्य कर रही है।मंडी में एसोसिएशन द्वारा एक राजकीय प्राथमिक पाठशाला को गोद लिया है जिसके अंतर्गत पाठशाला के लिए मूलभूत व्यवस्थाओं में अपनी अग्रणी भूमिका निभाती है।उन्होंने कहा एसोसिएशन का किसी भी राजनीतिक संगठन से कोई लेना देना नहीं है।कुछ लोगों निजी स्वार्थों के कारण एसोसिएशन के प्रति सरकार को भी गुमराह कर रहे हैं।उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि एसोसिएशन पारदर्शिता से समाज में विज्ञान और पर्यावरण की उन्नति की दृष्टि से कार्य कर रही है।

An Overviewof Our Journey
In modern civilization, “Science” more often refers to a way of pursuing knowledge. Science in India and especially in Himachal has significant potential for further development. Although scientists from Indian origin excel on an international level, the huge potential offered by the Himalayan state’s young population is far from being fully leveraged. As economic development advances and a broader section of society benefits from high-quality research, science in the state will be able to fully capitalize on this unique heritage. For the advances and promotion of Sciences in Himachal Pradesh the Research community has taken an initiative to come under one umbrella in the name of Him Science Congress Association (HSCA). HSCA has been registered under the HP Societies Registration Act, 2006 (Reg. No. 566/2012) with its registered office at Shoolini University, Solan. The main objective of HSCA is advances and promotion of Sciences and to bring the Research community under one umbrella. One of the main objectives of the HSCA is to encourage original researches and their publication.
